WOW that is the best close up of a bird I have ever seen ever. Focus is absolutely perfect. I can see his pupils inside his beak dof is spot on. Just a great shot. Story line is perfect. This is one of those shots that come along once in a blue moon you should feel very proud of your accomplishment. Great shot thanks for sharing. Corky

A bright and cheerful image with good clear detail. The addition of the sunflower seed in it's mouth is a bonus and adds further interest and the focus on the eye with it's pretty catchlight is excellent. I very much like the composition and close cropping too. Good luck in the contest!

WOW! I'm thinking this is pretty cool. The sculpted ridge around the eye is interesting. The pupil is kind of human like! And there with a sunflower seed. It's all set for the day. Great POV and awesome colors. Great macro entry!
