This is amazing. It is so lifelike, the detail is incredible. I do not know how long it took you to do this but it is truly a beautiful piece of art. She appears to me to be calm, casual, and carefree. Yet, her facial expression is still mysterious.

I would say that is has stood the test of time very well. What an excellent drawing. There is so much detail and excellent depth. Again your use of shadows and lights is right on. Very skillful in my eye. Shirley

Lots of story telling here, not only with here clothes and the furniture but definitely with those eyes. I'm going to sound like a broken record, but you are the number one artist on this site. The shading on the furniture makes it come alive, its like you can reach out and touch the just polished leather. The number of greyscale shades and tones you have here is incredible. Awesome detail in every aspect, especially her face, her eyes, her blouse. I always enjoy viewing your work, I apologize for the '5'. Great work Linda!!! Thanks.

There are so few lately. I am working on an idea for a new creation. Oops! I thought you were in the LA area, we have to change the sailing intenerary, and make it SanFransisco Bay instead (which I prefer anyway...always great sailing on the Bay!). its very cool to sail around Alcatraz and get to see San Fransisco and the Golden Gate from that perspective. I worked briefly for a chartering company just off the Embarkadero (sp) near the Bay bridge, and came oh so close to being a yacht broker in Sausalito after i left Hawaii. I have to go check my notes to see if I can find this info., but there is gallery there (well connected to the internet too) that seeks out new talent to represent in their gallery. They specialize in giving breaks to artists that don't already have a website or marketing presence, and they pick somebody new every month to feature! There's a ton of galleries between SF and Monterray....lucky you to be in that area, especially close to the ocean like that, haven't been to Carmel, but spent some time in Monterray, Cheers to you on that one.
