This is a great action shot and it should do well in the contest. The pose of the great blue heron is wonderful. the focus is super sharp. The lighting is very natural looking. You have very good depth of field. The contrast is very good.

This is an awesome picture the way you took it. You were sure in the right place at the right time to get a shot like this. This is just an amazing picture. The way you caught him with the fish, his wings like this and his feet like this is just fantastic. I like the way you see all the action in the water too. Just an outstanding and beautiful picture.
