This is a beautiful capture and a very pretty subject as well. Not sure if this was a crop or not but if it wasn't then even more amazing. Either way wonderful framing. Your focus is good and there is good contrast between the heron and the water. All around great image. Nice work!

it was a shame you could not focus on the full body just wasn't enough time...not..lol.that is probably the best thing that happen to you ...lol..this is beautiful you got up close photo of the bird..coming into the frame very sharp photo...who could ask for more...love it

What a good and lucky shot you got! It is clear, nice DOF with some good colour contrasts between the Heron and water. Even though the whole of the Heron is not in the frame, to me, it does not matter. It is a good in flight photograph. Good job.
