Very interesting notes. Love the colors of the sky reflecting on the water, like the great amount of textures and great motion of the waves. Beautiful formation of the clouds and great shading. Well done. Luck.

This image is a treat to see. See lifeboats in the sea is not a familiar site for me here in the west, so your notes are essential to my understanding. Very pleasant image.

Wonderful painting, Suzanne. The composition is excellent and really leads the viewer into where the lifeboat struggles forward in the distance. The movement of the rough water is very well rendered and I can almost sense it whipping up against those the rocks. Color and lighting along with shadows and highlights are all top notch. Truly excellent work.

this reminds me of the many trips to cornwall, my favourite place, you have caught the waves so well, and the texture of the craggy rocks, like the glimpse of sun on what looks a cold and dreary day, all respect to the lifeboat men who risk there lives to save others,

I was drawn in to the mysterious aspect of this piece...the mood which it invoked. What you see in shadow and in the light are each as important. The color and balance...perfect. The scene is intriguing and invokes a variety of feelings and emotions.The painting is rendered with wonderful strokes and colour mixing! Simply beautiful!

Well, this really looks like a winner!
Impasto stroke rendering creates this wave effect as they were shaken by the winds.
The rich multicolored paint rendering on that rough rock is truly looking amazingly real.
