Yes, I think it is an unexpected angle, cleo.
The shapes and different colors add to the interest, as does the various directions the toes of the boots are pointed, yet all are inwards toward the center.
There is a nice contrast between the textured pavement or floor on which they are standing and that of the smooth and polished boots.
Very experimental in nature and in statement.

This is unique. I love the boots and this is a great angle shot. Cleo. This reminds me of a wedding I attended and I had a bandage on my big toe and wearing beautiful sandels. What was really funny is the photographer wanted 8 of us to put in one foot in the centre of the circle; all beautiful feet accept...you guessed it; mine. She said that she was going to use it in a Bermuda magazine and every one had a good laugh over it. Thanks for reminding me of this. Rachelle

This is unique. I love the boots and this is a great angle shot. Cleo. This reminds me of a wedding I attended and I had a bandage on my big toe and wearing beautiful sandels. Love the colors anad the sharp focus, and yes, the camera angle too. Cleo, this is just too much! The only suggestion I have for improvement would be to have included the left foot of the girl on the far right.

Thanks. Yes it is red. I used the natural light what was wicked this day. The winter sun of San Antonio but with the kind of haziness we call smoke mixed with a lot of dust. I'll play with the light see what comes up but I can't change the entry since the contest rules permit Mixed Media.
