Very nice work of art here with the hand stroking the dogs head. I do also like the background a lot more than a solid colored background. Very Nice!

I think that this is a bit simplistic and the hand may be a tad out of proportion, however, I feel that the impact of this image makes up for these aspects. Well done.

Very cool digital of your Wolfbane. Whew, he was a large dog. I'm sure a sweetheart. What's really interesting here is the fact of a gentle hand to his forehead and the idea of his ears forward. All accepting. Question...just for me....why the vertical colors??? This is your artwork and I certainly don't want to stomp on your creativity but it's just a bit distracting. If you had mixed those colors or just left the pinkish background, would it have made the work less of an impact? Remember, I'm still a beginner and just sharing thoughts here. Really a lovely piece though and as I lost my best friend, a beautiful yellow lab, I understand the feelings they leave with us. Glad they were part of our lives. Enjoyed your painting. Annie

Another name for this one would be "nice dog"! I love the silouette that you have in this one and the background expresses I feel the vibes or emotions that are felt between the two! The silouette and the background has great contrast! Simplicity rules here!

I just have to say this is a very touching composition to me; especially now that I understand the symbolism of the silhouette. We have a Mamalute,Samoyed (sp?) and maybe Shep. mix named Little Bear and she only weighs 120; a good bit More than I do, but so gentle she's never a problem to handle.

This is so cool. I love your take on this subject! I have a dog and can ~feel~ your touch on his head! You love him and he loves you. Simple as that and unconditional. You have portrayed your message, no words needed!

A very simple but effective silhouette creation. The proportions are fine without your explanation. The dogs heart makes them feel huge to me anyway. The simple fact we take care of them is enough for a life of devotion. Thanks to all of the wonderful pets out there. They can make life real...Dennis
