Great action and story telling image. The strong shadows really add another dimension to the image giving it more impact as well. Shutter speed was good for this image. Could get a little more color in the sky with a polarizing filter.

Thank you, There wasn't as tug of war but a throw of the stick into the water. The long hear dog won the swim.

Nice catch of the action in the air. I always like shots of dogs playing on the beach, they seem to enjoy it so much! The shadows are pretty cool too! The focus is just a wee bit soft, but the overall scene more than makes up for that. Donkeyoatey

Thank you for your kind review. You are right the focus is soft. It is probably not the best idea to work with a flexible focus on a n action shot [focus on the long hear dog] but it was a good learning experience.

The softness was NOT bad for this shot, it may have helped tone down the bright sun..and without that, you wouldn't have those superb shadows! Donkeyoatey
