Lol! Don't know about hard decisions,but if you want metaphors and cliches: Between a rock and a hard place and he's doomed if he does, and doomed if he doesn't!
A wonderful piece of artwork, Love the dust and headlights of the car. The silhouettes of the wolf and rabbit are wonderful.
Very nicely done with a very strong ironic theme. Nice use of subtle colour which doesn't overshadow the main message of the piece--decision. I suspect the rabbit isn't going to stop though, the wolf looks like he's hesitating, maybe the rabbit will make it.

If I were the Jackrabbit I would run up close and then do a backflip over Wil E..there and trick him into getting squished by the car. But I am not a silly rabbit so who knows what I would do except for run faster.
Anyway, as far as the illustrative well composed piece of digital art is concerned..it is amazing.
Interesting, great atmospheic perspective and color scheme and use of black silohetted figures that adds a cartoonish but effective look to the overall artwork. Great.

I feel some odd dichotomies here. The sand is blinding and relatively realistic. The rabbit and coyote, being so sharply silhouetted and kind of cut-out looking, seem more cute and charicatured, even a little cartoon like, yet there is nothing unreal about the dual threat: the coyote would like to eat the rabbit, while they are both threatened by the oncoming car. A really interesting piece.

This composition is very soft and suddle to look at, And then you have this rabbit being chase which takes my eye. In the distance an on coming car can been seen amonst all the fog conditions. Like how the yellow line which devides the road takes my eye of into the distance.

LOL! Not to worry. Everything turns out OK, Shirley :) The jackrabbit makes a sharp right til the car passes, then goes left and makes a getaway. The coyote is very "car smart" and turns back. No one gets hurt. LOL. Thank you so much for the great review. By "gritty" do you mean the content (subject) of the painting or noise in the painting itself?

Lol, I meant the content. I was just off another site where there is a big conroversy because a photographer posted an explosion and at the front of the pack was a naked child. So the term was fresh in my mind, this is really not like that, sorry, lol. Shirley
