This is an intriquing work, definitely eyecatching and well executed. I particularly like the addition of the very pale yellow to draw one's attention to the bird's eyes. I am confused as to where your light source is coming from - definitely not the moon - for the if that were the case the trees would be in shadow like the leaves - and they seem to have a light source coming from behind and a little to the left of the artist. Thus, I find the image disconcerting.

Nice depiction of three birds that seem to be up to no good, planning their next caper.
Creative, like the monotone with the touch of yellow, nice draftsmanship. The composition is very nice.

The birds look wonderful. The colors on the birds is nice too. The moon in the background looks nice blurred rather than not. The only thing I would change would be that some of the white dots come off the trunk at the top left corner.Over all good job.

This piece has a great design element to it. I love the texture on the branches. The birds are looking in different directions to break up the planes. the leaves are great design and the negative shapes of the birds against the moon are lovely. The hint of gold in the beaks and around the eyes and the tree limbs adds a little immediacy and warmth. this is a cool piece.

This is very cute Shawn. The whole piece has a cartoonish feel, I mean that in a good way, not bad, they are cute, a bit exaggerated. Would be great for a halloween themed iece. Shirley
