I do not know what is wrong with my computer but I have a heck of a time getting this site to upload the whole page. I can get the painting but then have to wait at least 5 minutes for the comment box. The good thing is it gives me plenty of time to look at the painting. This is absolutely superb. I don't even know where to begin telling you how much I love this one. The cool, morning air comes alive with this one. This is definitely a 6 star work of art in my book. Absolutely marvelous.

This is just another extremely beautiful work of art. I am once again intrigued that you can create such realistic beauty digitally. It's inviting, even has a 'fairy tale' feel to it. The black and white make it striking, and I really like the postage stamp frame--because, this place would certainly be something to write home about:). Beautiful.

Well composed, inviting winter scene. Good composition and like the feeling of the clearing after the storm. Image is rather simple, fresh and like the cooling feeling on a Hot August night. Good tones and crisp detail.

i can't believe there was no photo used in this and this is 100% digital. You did an amazing job. I thought it was an old photo as the base and it was played with to look like it does now. shadows and shading are great. B&W does it justice!

How stunning.. I can't believe the detail you have achieved through merely digital technique. And giving it that old photo look was genius. I love it!

This painting is a bit like Chinese ink painting. The 'empty'(/white) spaces are all placed at reasonable place and they make the pic looks very harmonious. This piece is quite soft as well. Btw, the frame is interesting, it makes it looks like a stamp.

I love it ! this is just what l need, here in Georgia it's so hot outside, your painting give me some fresh air !
I love the presentation, the little fence attract my eyes and the trees in the back make a nice "point de vue", excellent technique as always.
Thanks Shawn for sharing.

This is nice as it looks like a stamp. I'm not sure how you made a photograph look like a pencil drawing...but I don't know anything about digital art. Other than I just like the image as I do here. Nice work.

Thank you so very much, Markerika, for the wonderful review. Although there are no photos used here, I truly appreciate the excellent review. This is painted the same way a traditional artist would do, but using my mouse and a virtual canvas :) Again, thank you so much. Shawn
