Beautiful scene and I really like the framing with the tree branches and sumac at the bottom, makes it not "just another water fall". Do you ever do a little "cheat" and add a tad bit of saturation just to make the colors pop. On those bright sunny days the true colors get washed out if you don't use a filter:) Thank you, Amy.

This is beautiful. I very much like the green of the water in the fall pool.
The focus is good and encompasses the entire frame.
To me the balance, and composition, are well tended.
The colors play well together.
The light works well.
I see a creative and skilled imagination.
I see technical excellence.
I also see sophistication in the overall appearance of this image.
Also I believe that this image caries a capacity for story telling.
Very nicely done.

I know I always ask for to much.
But now I'd like to see the falls from the other side. And if you have an OP/TECH Rainsleeve, (or something similar) a shot from behind the falls looking out.
Sorry it's just that I have a thing for this subject. and there are not any natural falls of any size near by. Next spring I will attempt to travel north along the Eel River and then to the Trinity River. Although being in a car hurts and I will be in extreme pain for the entire venture. But I will get Images that will, in time, make it worth it all.

Nice shot. Good framing. Good color. Good focus. The only thing I might have changed would have been the shutter speed. I would have slowed it down a bit to make the water coming over the falls a little softer.
