Very creative idea and excellent job depicting it with watercolor pencils. It appeals to the kid in all us adults. Good times.

I love your humor!
It's not so unusual as you think. I just saw Santa accompanied by Rudolph entering our beach with a canoe. He is going to spend his well owned vacations on our beaches this year.
It is a beautiful and funny card done with imagination and excellent technical skills. Much luck for the contest.

aww thanks so much for such a high rating. I really did put Santa through it but he can have a nice long break from it now ;) I have such funny little images in my head now of Santa sipping magaritas on a beach somewhere and rudolph sun blocking his nose, teddy can be soaking up the rays in his hammock reading the latest novel.. wish I was with them he he

I thought this was the last I had seen of these guys, so nice to know they are still being appreciated. Thanks again for such a great review. They will def have to come back next year with some more adventures

They def have to come back! Glad you give you some funny ideas. I just see now teddy reading, Santa tipsy and Rudolph sunburned. I also see them scuba diving....

Thanks so much for the lovely review

I think santa will be delivering his gifts by canoe over here 'down under' this Christams. Some flood areas are not expected to peak until 23-25 December, so better put the floaties on. Another lovely card, Corinna, ytou certainly have these down pat - colours, lines shapes and just enough going on without it being too much. Merry Christmas, Cheers, peta :-)

Oh really not you as well! Lets hope it clears up soon for you guys. Where abouts in Oz are you? Actually we haven't been too bad the last couple of years, it seems to have been taken over by snow and ice instead... could be a whole new series of cartoon sketches for next year ;) So pleased you like this one and thanks for reviewing it, always appreciated

Another brilliant Corrina creation. Santa in a canoe .. woohoo. It just shows that the old fellow doesn't give up and is therefore setting a good example to us all. I seriously would consider marketing these cards for next Christmas. I would definitely buy some. Good job again. PS you got my last 6!! Jill

:-) OK, now this one is my favorite (along with the one with the penguins). How do you get these creative ideas? It's really amazing! Funny also that the rudolphs and Santa seem to enjoy the flood and it goes to show that where there is a will there is always a way! Fantisco!

Aww thanks Iris, I dunno really. I wanted to do something that related to my hometown, thought of things that remind me of it and some landmarks and events and then just let my mind go silly :) I really enjoyed doing these and will def do some more. Im so pleased you like this

Another goodie. Santa doesn't look too sure about the canoe trip, but the reindeer seem to be having fun. Great colours and expertise, plenty of detail to make it interesting. A great cartoon.

This is the best one yet! I love the angle that you drew this from and the subject is great one I'm afraid many people can identify with. Love Santa and his reindeers in canoes! The storefronts are precious being able to see in the windows and each one is different. Very well done great perspective and very good use of the medium. This one is my favorite.

You're very welcome! I like the angle of view on this one and that they are in canoes versus the traditional sleigh and flying:)
