You sure did an excellent job on this helvi. The color and lighting are donr really well and the sky is perfect. It's a well balanced work and I am very glad you did one because I did not.You left nothing out of this painting and I enjoyed viewing it very much.

Hi Angel, Thank you for such a lovely review. This mixed media was actually created from a statue of granite. I didn't want it to have that look though, so added colorized transparencies over it. I am honored you thought it was a painting. Hope your pain has lessened up my friend. Have a Wonderful Easter tomorrow! Smiles and Hugs, Helvi

You are very welcome Helvi,it did turn out beautiful. My pain has lessened a bit but I went out to the waterfall in our huge park where my son got married and had to do a little hiking up rock steps with my gr-daughter Kelsey helping my every step.I thought I was going to scream all night the pain was so bad. Will be seeing a pain management Dr.soon.

Good initial impact. Very appropriate post for today. Like the dark sky and ray of light shining down. Wish the focus was sharper. Good composition, cropping and framing. Good technique and story telling potential. Creativity in title, presentation and artist's notes.

Oh, Master of the mixed media, you humble me with your kind words. I think your mixed media IS phenomenal, so when you look at mine and think it's GOOD, my feet lift off the floor! I love shots where the sun penetrates the clouds in beautiful glowing light. I like ro save those shots for something special like this. I was REALLY hoping it would come out GOOD! Turning a granite statue into something that looks like flesh and bones is not an easy task. I definitely wanted this to emote the inner soul. I wanted people to look at this and see Jesus and not a chisled statue. Knowing YOU liked this means I pulled it together somehow. Now that you know where the cockles of the heart are, I'd like to thank you from there again. Bless You, and Happy Easter to YOU and YOURS! Smiles and Hugs, Helvi

Donkeyoatey,YOU supply me with endless smiles. How do you say thank you for that? From what I see on here...especially when it comes to your work, I know I have to work my tail off...always losing that darn thing! LOL Having you as a fan of mine is a wonderful blessing. :o) Helvi
