I believe the dried seed pod is a lotus pod. They make great dried material for flower arrangements. The bud of pink is pretty too. I have a large leaf like that which is dried material also. They retain the green color when dried. Nice composition. thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much I was tempted to cut some of the seed pods but thought the Botanic Gardens people may get upset. They are so unique.

Nice shot. Good clarity,dof,exposure,lighting.i think I would have cropped this a little tighter to bring the flowers closer, and also blurred out the background.Would give a lot more softness to this image. Good job.
