This is a very nice shot. It's always fun when we run across a good opportunity like this while on the way to do something else. This would be a great shot if you could get it with the red lights on. That would make an interesting contrast. Good luck in the contest.

Now this is a very interesting photo. You caught the sun at EXACTLY the right spot. Before I read your notes, I really thought that you had lined up shot and waited for the sun to hit just the right spot. Truthfully, that is what I thought. I had even written that part of the review before I read your notes and had to erase it. I always start a review, at least in my head and often typed before I read the notes. My review is more my own and my honest reaction that way. I'm glad you took out the wires. I have had to do that on some shots, they do mess up certain photos. It depends on the scene. The sky is really nice and the clouds were very nice to you. Very nice.

Nice one - I recall Cindy trying something similar recently. The sky has some lovely colour and cloud formations. The signs make a crisp silhouette and provide some interesting shapes.
