you are so prolific in your art and you come up with some wonderful (bright and cheerful) images. always lifts my spirits to see your body of work (even the horror stuff). you have used your style to great effect depicting a candid alarm clock.

You are right, this is definitely more fun. I think the alarm clock is making fun of us because he runs our life! He has that sort of sly expression like he is saying, "Ha, Ha, you have to listen to me! the clock is based on the old wind-up Big Ben alarm clock that I remember as a child. My grandparents had one, although I don't remember them using it. They were farmers and were used to getting up early. I haven't thought about that old black alarm clock in years. Thanks for the memory. Karan

Thanks for the lovely review, glad it stirred up a few memories for you he he Yes she said she wanted an old fashioned alarm clock and they seemed to have so much character so would be rude not to turn him into an actual character

Good decision. This would be perfect for a children's book. He looks very friendly and I love the colors and lines. Well done - as usual!

I love it. That is again a character who applies to kids and grown ups the same. I envy your imagination. I really like that background depicting the two times 12 of 24 as well as the difference between them.

How creative and playful you are! This is a type of art I do not often see on this site and find it refreshingly child-like. It makes me smile.

Yay, created a smile :) Thanks so much,I do lots of work like this. I took a break from them for a while so that I could do some more serious stuff so it was nice doing something light hearted again. Thanks for the review
