I just don't think it is fair that the female cardinal is not as beautiful as the male cardinal. That said, I love the photo. The focus is so clear and crisp. Great capture. I also like the green background. I like the fact that she has the sunflower still in her beak. Altogether, a great capture.

Strong focus and clarity.
Nice composition.
Good lighting really allows us to see the detail in her plummage, so many color variation in there. Best of luck.

Excellent close up of your female Cardinal. Detail is marvelous along with all it's colors. Cropping on the bottom might be a problem. Other then that, very well done. Thank You,
