I love this picture because I love how you capture the ants eyes lol! I don't ever think I seen an ants eyes before that's because it's always on the bottom of my shoe after I kill it as I scream ewwwww! Awesome picture and great color! Very proud of you!

Your shot is sharp and well exposed giving good detail for us to enjoy.
What a busy ant until he got caught in the spider wire.
The colours throughout the image all blend in harmony.

Amazing shot! Only have a five left, but this is the best macro of an insect that I have ever seen. The lighting and focus are truly astounding. What I really am impressed with is that you caught incredibly unique circumstance. Thanks for explaining the spider wire in your notes, might otherwise have been missed or unknown to me when viewed. Fantastic capture!

Great photo! Ants are such interesting creatures. I did have to chuckle when I read your notes. I am just trying to picture a guy laying on his sidewalk with a camera...

Thank you so very much! I am still a little boy at heart. My neighbors see me as a 62 year old man laying on the sidewalk. I am glad they know me, otherwise they may call the authorities.

Color is nice, especially with the narrow color palette/
Cropping and composition are great.
I do find the highlights or lens flair just to the left of the ant a little distractions.

Such a different world down there on the ground LOL, great macro of this ant as you can see every little detail including the string of web. Good positioning in the frame and great focus. A really good shot .

It must have been the day for lying on the grass, I've been doing that too. Not for an ant though, mine was a flower. Great shot here Willie. Fantastic colour, your usual excellent focus and attention to the light. Something different for us to see. Love it.
