Strong initial impact with the rich vibrant reds masked with a very dark background.
Interesting method used to acheive your image. However, very well done. You can do this to many ordinary objects - may be a good idea if you get interested in stock photos.
Very marketable for posterboards and felt boards.
Sharp detail and framing is well done. Lighting couldn't be more perfect.

Well now can imagine you in the dark bathroom to get this image, but then again you do what you have to do to get the perfect shot you have achieved here! Love the glow and the fractalius filter adds to the beauty of the rose giving it a soft glow in the darkness. The reflections just complete the beautiful shot! Nice shooting and great ideas to create this image Annie!

Pity I didn't have a 6 as this is really striking. The flash really gives a beautiful glow to the rose that just says wow. Worth being holded up in the bathroom.

Of all the places to take a photo, I would never guessed the bathroom. I do like the effect that you have captured in this image.
The color is very rich, just jumps from the page! The way the black lays throughout the deep red is quite eye pleasing.
I think the exposure has brought this rose to life. I do like the lighting from the flashlight. The effects are quite good, and they invite the eye in for a closer look. The eye is carried nicely into the shot, and the depth is very good.
