Good evening and Happy Independance daay to you! This is great, love how you have utilized the natural ligtof the sunrise. The way ou have the ligh and shadows on the road, teaks me back to al the wars that to many have fough for use to live free and enjoy that freedom. This is a very simple but strong reminder of that fact. Great focus all around, the silloute of the trees in the BG is the iceing on the cake, I have a soft spot for them, LOL. Thanks so much for the reminder (even if I am a bit north of you, LOL) Great job and I hope you have a great evening, C

Good morning and a happy [Independence] Day to you. For all I know you are in Canada where the 4th of July is not an holiday. You are a whole lot north of me. I am currently several thousand miles south of the US border :-)

Very nice photo. i love the cropping of the flag. I would have liked it better without the car, but anyway, great story telling ability.

Thank you very much. Well, as I wrote in my comments there was not much I could do against that parked car. On the other hand, that car seems to be symbolic: We are half on the way to the ideal with the second half still to go. We shouldn't stop on our way.
