how beautiful Mary. the raindrops give it freshness and the composition is lovely. I probably would have pulled out the dead stick. the colors are just wonderful and the lighting is nice. Good focus and nice techs. Very impressive.

Thanks Sonya, yes the twig is a nuisance but my software editing skills are below par someone suggested cloning to remove so will have to get my daughter to give me some lessons :)

i don't use any fancy stuff either...too hard LOL. Picasa is my limit for the moment. am nearly 61 and it gets harder to learn as you get older. I do it the simple way and just break off the unwanted dead bits LOL. xoxoxo sonja

I'm with you I just turned 61 in July, would have moved dead bit if I had noticed it when taking shot but eyesight must be going as well as all the aches and pains, I use Picasa and have tried photoshop can't even open the darn photo properly in that :) :)

Thankyou, I still haven't got round to learning software editing other than basics but agree would be good to remove the branch.

Lovely colors in this one. Focus and white balance is perfect The contrast of bulb awith the candy strpe really stands out against the green leaves background.
