This is a form of art I'm not familiar with..But, it is truly amazing to see the finished product.
Lovely earthy tones. Good shadow and contrast.

Gorgeous and looks soo real I was fooled for a split second! Amazing details with the stunning fall colors shown so nicely here. The lighting highlights the f.g. leaves well, with the faded b.g. leaves again giving it the real photograph look! Outstanding art work and excellent contest entry!

When pure digital art is mistaken for a photograph, it seems to me it should be taken as a great compliment. At any rate I assumed this was a photograph when I saw it on the home page and I think you have done a super nice job with it. Although I am a raw beginner with digital art I have noticed that reddish and orange color schemes can easily come across as dull and muddy but not so here. Very pleasing still life with convincing detail.

At any rate I assumed this was a photograph when I saw it on the home page and I think you have done a super nice job with it. Although I am a raw beginner with digital art I have noticed that reddish and orange color schemes can easily come across as dull and muddy but not so here. This is such a compelling work of art! I think it is the many nuances within each color, so gracefully blended, that really draw the eye in. And, for me, the nostalgia of a season I no longer get, due to moving to the southwest( I grew up in the midwest and then lived in New York).
I really appreciate the author notes, for it seems to help bridge a gap between Traditional and Digital painting, for me atleast, in understanding better what it takes to paint digitally!
