Eve holding an apple â?? sounds familiar, even if I am not familiar with western culture. I feel the lighting is very effective in this work. It is like soft spot light over her face. As you like to bring oneâ??s attention to her face, this approach works well. Thank you for sharing.

Whoever she is she is a villainous woman. I first thought of a modern witch from Snow White or Sleeping Beauty and you say Eve, whoever she is she has an intensive and seductress glare. I like your drawing technique, the hair is defined well and the shading is good. Oh, and the apple is pretty enticing.

A wonderfully framed composition with excellent color selection and a superb skill set for working with light and shadows for depth and texture. What an evocative piece as her look is inviting. Perhaps the apple metaphor as Adam was tempted?? I really enjoy this piece. Very nice and interesting work! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Thanks for reviewing this. It is indeed the apple temptation metaphor and I am her Adam. If you are not aware, she is a tv chef in the uk who can be quite sultry when she presents her show! R

Love this, skilled pencil drawing, good textures, face especially nicely done for expression, there is something a little blank about it, puts me in mind of the original snake being just an empty vehicle for delivering temptation. Especially love that you have based it upon Nigella! We all know what she does with food and I've seen umpteen spoofs emphasising....not the food, let's just say more how she presents it. I like it.
