Poor girl..I can totally identify with how she feels.
It brings me back to a ski lesson I had many years ago. Thank God nobody had a camera! Great photo!

slightly comical but well shot captured with clarity and well angled nice details especially of the fallen ski, I would have cropped a tad more off the foreground but still nicely done the whole frame keeps the eye up to the top of the frame and over the hill. good effort and thanks for sharing

You are right, this is an oops shot LOL - great timing, perfect frame to show us the nice winter mountain scene of the world of snow and sport, fund and oops situations - great reaction, great focus - great momentum - perfect snap shot - wish t be there too LOL and if possible without creating oopses...a Perfect memory picture

Fred,
A brilliant stop action picture of this unfortunate Instructor flat on her back skis in the air, something that happen in a split second but unless you are injured you keep going back for the feeling of freedom & exaltation you get as you speed down the mountain. The chair-lift in the background adds another point of view. Wonderful composition, lighting with those spectacular colours of the high snow covered Alps under a clear blue sky. Taken with superb camera techniques & three D sharp focus.
