This is fantastic! The golden haze of the setting sun highlights the whole shot. The flying wedge of geese is a wonderful added perk to the photo. The grasses support the upper portion of the picture like a pair of loving hands. Beautiful!

Good luck in the contest. Voted. Same piece of work I was trying to get, over Lake Martin. Got the birds and the bg, but the foreground was unappealing. Great job!

Beautiful golden image. Didn't think they ever went back to Canada. Lol.
Looks as if it might be a bit of a struggle since, by the lean of the tall weeds, they are flying into the wind. Good composition and detail. Thanks for sharing.

This took my breath away when I saw it. Oh so much atmosphere and emotion. It says so much with so little. You are working with gold and black but have created a momentous image. I could not even dream this

Hey, Angel! LOL. Well, I wouldn't want to get shot for somebody's dinner, but it would be great to take off for parts unknown whenever you wanted. :) Thank you for this!! Just dropped in to see how everyone was doing, and to see who all is still here. Seems like the art side has shrunk some, lol. Again, thank you!! Gotta get back to work. I like working at night when things are quiet. :)shawn

LOL! No, I just get bored doing the same thing all the time. I did this painting to go with a poem and decided to post it here also, mostly to see if I still had some get-up-and-go. McAfee just mothballed my PC :( They're telling me they no longer support Windows XP, and that's where I have my art program...PSP 9, sooooo, I probably won't be doing much painting anymore. 9 won't go on the newer versions of Windows. I have the other versions by Corel, but don't really like them. I also have CS5, but can't find a dang thing in it. You have to do too much hunting to find one simple thing, lol. Question: What plugins have you found that will work in CS5? I like most of the Flaming Pear plugins, but their site hasn't really changed that much, so don't know if they've upgraded or not. Probably have to call them. Anyway, let me know when you get time. :)shawn

You know Shawn,I have Windows 7(still like XP though)I can use PSP X with no problems.
The only Photoshop programs I have are Elements 7 and I just bought 11.I did have Photoshop 7 on my XP but it's not compatible with win 7.Maybe if you changed from McAfee to Avast, which is what I use and I have never had a problem one! Also,I'm thinking of changing to win 7 professional which supports and also runs XP.I use Flaming Pear,Xero and Filter Forge which is one that I love.Let me know if this was any help.Be good and stay sweet :)

A beautiful silhouetted scene, no words needed here. Top shot, frame and focus with a low light exposure.

This is simply stunning. I love the silhouette birds in flight, tall wheat like grass and muted pines in the background. Color is glowing.

Beautiful golden sky and landscape. I really like the suns glow and the reflection on the water. Nice dark reeds in the forefront. The birds look great against the backdrop. Very 3-dimensional looking. Great photo.
