It's so funny how we are in the same contest again. I love to make pictures that is not into focus and make them into abstract art!
This contest is perfect for me but then I came across this picture and I said Damn, Damn, Damn I am going to lose again to you!
This sucks raw eggs lol! But this picture is pretty awesome. How many hot air balloons went into the air that day?

You have to understand, I study photography every day almost every second of the day. I have a lot of experience and very good equipment. I also have a feel for what the judges want. I hope you can win a contest someday!

Inside the balloon during filling. Been there and done that and it is fun. And you are right the sun shinning through the thin material makes for interesting patterns.
Your colors are rich and the image is in focus throughout. Good story image well done.

Artistic elements are unique and offer a view not many get a chance to see. Great frame with phenomenal Initial Impact.

I am using an Olympus E3 camera with a 12/60mm f2.8 lens. 125/sec f20. I was taking the reading on the lighted part which makes all the rest under exposed. The dark areas was brought out with the use of topaz.
