I don't know how I missed this one, it is really good, love the
contrast between the yellow and the black , the grey is proportioned just right to give the effect of the smoke but of the sky being obscured by the fire,the foreground with the purple flowers gives life hope in the wake of destructive flames, very nice image

This painting is amazing! What incredible depth you've created through layers of work. The background scene with the fire and the bird flying over it are great. Then you added the reflection which made it even better. Then to top it all off, the beautiful plants and tree in the foreground. Amazing painting.

Your silhouettes are perfection personified. I love the fire effect and the sun breaking trough the smoke.
Wonderfully creative framing and a great reflection on the rough water. The bird is a nice touch and focus point.

You have nailed this scene with excellence. The direct view of the fire is effective in bring the title home, but the fire lit clouds of smoke and the reflections in the water are the true feelings of an intense forest fire. The back lit tree and the partially lit flowers flickering in firelight are outstanding finishing touches of the scene.
