What a pretty and delicate looking one. Like the soft pink colors, dark background, frame and exposure. I do not know either what it is, however, such a pretty little one.

Very lovely flower, sweet pea maybe? Color, lighting, focus, and angle are great. The only suggestion I would make is regarding composition. I think not cropping quite so tight above the flower but showing a bit less of the leaves would add to the impact of this photo. Overall great job.
Initial impact 4.5
Creativity of presentation 5
Color Harmony 5
Center of Interest 5
Lighting 5

Thanks Patty - yes was bit tight on top but this one was straight out of camera, no cropping, didn't realise when composing shot I had made it so tight. :) Mary

Mary ~It's a lovely photo just the same :). Just passing along one of the many things I have learned from the FAR community, that being to give myself a bit more room when I take the photo so I have cropping option later. These folks are so helpful! ~ Patty

It looks like a Snap Dragon or a Lady Slipper to me Mary! It's just stunning, love the color, super dof, with nice focus and framing:)

Yes, it looks wild and lovely. The shape and color is very eye-catching. The framing placement is a bit too tight at the top and the darkened leaves gets most of the space. A point of suggestion is just to lower down the presentation, focus on the bloom and the buds, because the leaves are blurred anyway. Just an a suggestion, but overall this is still enjoyable and still deserves a five for having an exotic subject.

I think it is a kind of snapdragon (Antirrhinum majus): a very nice capture of this pretty pink flower;

No idea what it is. Lovely colour and shape. Looks like a snap dragon but I know its not. Good b/g and like the sunlight on the petals. When the buds open it will be spectacular. Very interesting
Thanks Mary for sharing
