very nice white orchid piece...the flowers capture the lighting well and display a nice shadow effect in the frame...nice touch with the rays of light emerging from behind and emanating outward...the background hue of dark blue/purple compliments the subject matter well...nice work and thanks for sharing

I'm glad you gave us a name for the background effect. I like the beam effect very much. It serves to "explain" the varied white shading in the flowers petals perfectly.

Great shadow and light and the star light effect around the plant is wonderful.

A stunning image that literally jumps out at you!
The colourisation of the flares in the background only help to accentuate the almost surreal lightness coming from behind the petals. Excellent lighting, superb detail. Well done. :)
