MoonWillow, this is stunning, the lone leaf really tells the solitude of the scene. Loving the purple sky and refelction in the water, beautiful mountainous b/g all giving way to the silhouetted foreground. Excellent work of art:)

There is a lot that can be read into this one. Bonsais are tortured and stunted and old but, stay small. Compare that to the tree on the right that was allowed to grow naturally and free. The single leaf...it is autumn. The autumn of both their lives? What a thought provoking piece.

Hey there Shawn~
It's great to see you posting a work. This is absolutely stunning and I love the minimal use of color,my favorite. To my eyes, this has an Asian feel.I'm a huge fan of clouds, silhouettes and simplicity.Okay,I'm off to color my hair for my birthday celebration tomorrow.Have a friend who I have spent no time with for almost 30 years!! This is a SUPER Birthday gift in itself.
Awesome work,as usual,my friend~

Thank you, dear Angel, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!. Yep, tomorrow is the 14th... boy is time flying or WHAT?? I already had my B-Day for this year, and here we are almost into the last quarter of the year. Again, thank you for this, and the super rating. Have a fantastic birthday, and have a drink for me, too. LOL. Stay safe!

A beautiful composition, love the colours and the subject matter, silhouettes are fun to do as they are striking in any form of medium, very nice.

Brilliant, original use of color. The background--mountains?--gives a super perspective on this. Great creative work. Cheers, JR

I love this painting! Of course, I'm a sucker for silhouettes and sunsets. The fact that it's purple just makes it more interesting. I love the stark loneliness of the trees. Together, yet utterly alone. The lake and mountain in the background gives the painting a subtle majesty. Fantastic!

Very serene piece of digital art with simplistic approach and a Japanese flavor..
The colors are lovely together with particularly striking silhouettes and that lonely little leaf hanging on for dear life is a whimsical touch.
Very nice work .
