Interesting use of pastel with such a grim subject. Because of the striped pajamas my first thought was of Jews in Nazi concentration camps. Face tells the whole story.

well, striped pyjamas would mean any prison to me which was before the war-- though I am a European but over the pond, you have it pushed in your faces constantly and not exactly totally truthfully either- third hand money making ventures and political expediency-only your academics know the actual facts and not Hollywood, money making machine. I came home from shift at Newham hospital, and stressed and tired 10pm sketched my day- always my relief, to write some lines about the day, or sketch the memorable part of my day. Thank you

it had been a bad day at the hospital and when I came home from shift at 10pm I just sat down and did sketches. A friend bought one, an art history lecturer who was at Art College with me, a colleague, but I kept the other one- my de-stresser to paint or write my day! Thank you
