This pathway made of cherry trees creating an arbor is really giving the essence of the sadness. The lost souls seem to wander here. And the dullness of the surroundings appear to mourn at the loss.. Striking the heart..

Wow! It's a great spring time photo of thee cherry blossoms. Beautiful walk covered in blossoms. You have blossoms and our leaves are turning colors for fall. I like this perspective looking through a tunnel of cherry blossoms. Good photo Mary and thanks for sharing it.

Too bad this is not in sharp, crisp focus. It is a beautiful scene! I like how the green bushes usher one into the cemetery . I also like the spirit houses in the background.

Nice idea. The colors make a super contrast. Nice play of light. I'm afraid the path is the real center of interest here. Also, the white railing distracts.

Oh now you make me feel bad - funny I have done Autocad complex engineering drawings, spreadsheets, word processing and other computer packages when working but just can't seem to master the art of photo editing. You have spurred me on to try a little harder :) Cheers Mary

A beautiful & peaceful picture of this avenue of White Cherry trees on bloom leading to the Cemetery the sunlight filtering down through the trees making patterns on the box hedges & path. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting with superb camera techniques with sharp focus.

Thanks Susan, we are home now and still sorting through the photos - mixed bag of good and bad. Was a great holiday over 4000 km (2485 miles) travelled.
