bright colors against the darker blue sky.
I don't know if I like the crop as it makes it look a little "squatty." But that is
strictly your preference. I would never deduct points for what you feel is best.

I am back to normal after a hectic period, and ready for doing some reviewing. This is indeed a colorful photo Willie, and still with a limited color pallet which I find very effective. The red and yellow part of the plane is standing out really well against the blue sky.
Your photo is of course also pin sharp with well defined details, and the exposure is perfect making the colors crisp and clear.
The cropping is perfect, but the best thing about this shot is actually the creative perspective. I think this a well balanced composition. It is also a well taken photo and I wish you luck with the contest.
