Found it Mary Eileen....and you're right....although I really do like the outside version. Your idea of going back on a cloudy day is a great idea.
I see this one even won a contest. Good for you! Focus and exposure are excellent here. It's really natural looking....and LOVE the cow. I lived on a dairy farm for quite a few years and it was these kind of cows we had- Holsteins.
I love that they put a cow there looking out the window. Looks like a wonderful little store. How's the home-made ice cream??

Thank you. The ice cream is great. After I won the contest I made a copy of it and had it printed on canvas and gave it to the owner as a gift for being so nice to allow me to take the photos inside

Yes, I do live there. There are many photo ops available in a 10 mile radius so I don't have to travel far to get geat pics.

I have been back to look at this photo several times now. Every time I look at it, I love it more. The contrasting values are gorgeous between the right side and the left. The colors and warm interior vs. cool exterior are delicious. What a scream to see a cow in the window. The composition is delightful. If I may be so bold, this photo is very painterly and being a painter, you know I love that!! As a matter of fact when I first saw it I thought it was a painting! LOL! I wish I had a 6 for you. You deserve that and more.

I have been back to look at this photo several times now. Every time I look at it, I love it more. The contrasting values are gorgeous between the right side and the left. The colors and warm interior vs. cool exterior are delicious. What a scream to see a cow in the window. The composition is delightful. If I may be so bold, this photo is very painterly and being a painter, you know I love that!! As a matter of fact when I first saw it I thought it was a painting! LOL! I wish I had a 6 for you. You deserve that and more.

Thank you so much for your kind comments. This is one of those happy accidents where I was just in the right place and time with perfect light. I tried very hard not to "overcook" with filters.

Pretty cool capture. The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of the shop with the cow catching the viewers eye is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balanced and eye interesting to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall
