WOW to create that from a flower picture is stunning - somehow I cannot look at it from this perspective , my first intuitive reaction was to turn my head to see it from the bright side and as longer I Digg in I only see the God in playful action with the water element. There is also a huge fish in happy move - I love the water colors and how you twisted it to get this form done - I also love the red part for me looking like leaves floating and entering the joyful game but again I have to turn my head loll. The color range is excellent and the transparency of the water amazing in textures and natural flow - great job - stunning concept, thanks for sharing

Tank you very much for your throughout review. If I turn the painting by 90 or 180 degrees, Nereus would lay either on its back or its face. I wanted him upright looking at the fish at the left. The red and green parts at the right upper corner are seaweeds as Nereus' hair or it might be a crown.

so I got it all wrong this time WOW I barely can open my eyes it is the most intriguing work with a fantastic color flow I have seen from you so far - if standing or lying loll

You didn't get anything wrong. We all have different points of view, especial at abstract artwork.

Wow Cleo this is beautiful! Your technical excellence on how you came to do this is very impressive. You put a lot of thought and work into this masterpiece. I do see the eye and face up on the left of the painting. Really great abstract made from another painting very cool, nice soothing colors and reds are impacting. Great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for your review and your input. Mmm, Horizontally? I don't know because this means Nereus would lay on his Back or his face. Is that what you want?

Oh, I look at it differently, Cleo but either way its harmoniously rendered! Thanks!

Thank you much for your kind Review Galia. I do not have a style in which I work all the time, truth I prefer some techniques over others. Most of all I like to experiment with different medias. Experiment is what keeps our imagination alive.

this is such a great picture. really well achieved and executed concept. there is a cross-pollination of two genres but you both have a good understanding of the given subjects. it is refreshing to view a piece on here that has a lot of artistic and expressive thought process. i was once on the island of santorini (i think the biggest eruption in the time of man?), possibly sinking atlantis? and killing half the people in europe? anyways a perfect rendition of a character from greek mythology.

Cool,Cleo85!
While I don't really understand 'digital art' ( or 'abstract' art generally! ) I'm certainly enjoying the interesting Mythical 'tone' of this image!
It's a fun creation to view and I enjoyed reading your notes about it!

thanks so much for the interesting story on this one, it might have left me wondering what it was otherwise, it's very creative and when you look at it, it looks like a waterway of islands.
