I like the artistic flare in this image - the natural yet non typical colors of the clouds - the whole ambiance is very striking. The two lanterns with varying color of yellow creates both a focal point and additional element of interest. If you have time - shoot me a message and let me know what you have been up to. Kathy

Thank you so much. I have not been sick. My computer went down and I just did not get it fixed. I stay busy and I am always shooting. I have been buying up old frames from goodwill stores etc. And making repairs and painting them, Then making prints to put in them to sell. I have 15 hanging now and 20 frames ready for prints.

I was so surprised to see that your named popping up on my mail list. I am so happy to see that you are still around, and with a lovely photo as well. It is a fine entry for the contest with both light in the sky and light in the lamp. The sky is of course spectacular, and the lamp pole is standing out from it in an excellent way.

The lamp pole is also standing out sharp and well defined against the sky, and the exposure is just spot on.

I also think the way you have cropped this photo is working well, and the lamp pole has got a fine placement off to the left. I think this is a truly lovely photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

My computer went down and I did not get in a big hurry to fix it. I have been buying up old picture frames from yard sales and goodwill stores etc. And making repairs and painting them. I have 15 pictures hanging now with 20 more ready.
