Well Done and close , everything around is perfect ! No smurfs here but a definite Stumper LOL little bright but I have done that too, they are amazing This one is one in a hmmm . . . . loved the view Bev :)

I think this is a cute looking little mushroom, and I bet it is shining like a little sun on the forest floor. I can see that the background is nicely softened as well, and the mushroom is standing out from it in an excellent way.
Your photo is of course also nice and sharp showing really clear and well defined details all over, and the exposure is very good. Still I think you could lower the light just a tad.
The photo is nicely cropped into a perfect format and the mushroom has got a very good placement a bit off to the left. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo, and with a very good DOF.

A very nice looking newly sprouted Amanita muscaria mushroom. They are generally classified as toxic but were used in Indian rituals. They range from pale yellow to red and can grow quite large. Several inches across when opened.
The light is very nice and the details are well defined.

This is a fantastic shot - I just love the natural beauty with the strong colors of this mushroom - you have done the best to let it stand out like a hero at his space - amazing focus, contrast and lighting
