This guys was wanting this I believe he deserves it :) Love the cloud cover almost haunting, great placement, love the b&w. Great title. I almost feel the loneliness of him but yet there is more to come. Love the view , Bev :)

Beautiful!! And I understand how it just begged you to capture it. The sky is fabulous. The technical stuff is all in place. Beautifully composed with the tree just slightly off center. An attention grabbing photo just perfect for the contest.

A beautiful shot which looks great as a black and white. The sky is outstanding and the solitary tree is nicely placed. A very nice tonal range in this eye catching black and white. Best of luck in the contest.

I think you have nailed the category. The leading lines of the hillside and the curving cloud formations are stunning. The lone tree also has a bit of a slant to continue the flow of the scene. Use of light and dark lighting of sky and land is dramatic.
