As a lighthouse guy, I love the shot and the notes. As a history major, I eat this stuff up. The construction of the scene is so well done. The lateral lines of the shore and the water lengthen the shot beyond it actual normal size. Rich colors and great focus make this a real keepers.

A nice view along the shoreline. The colors are very nice and I like the gulls in the foreground as well as the couple down the beach.

The aquamarine water against the blue sky is beautiful. The people walking on the beach and seagulls add interest. Excellent focus and framing. I wish I was there right now.

This is an interesting capture mostly in shades of blue. The natural limitation of color is quite interesting.
I like the deep angle of the shot which intensifies the perspective. The movement of the waves is an interesting contradiction to the sand and the serene sky. I also appreciate also your interesting comments about the lighthouse.

All the years I've been here, I've never ventured to see this lighthouse yet.
Now, I know I have to go. Perfect shot Fred. You did yourself proud with this one.
Great visual and perfectly peaceful scene.

Excellent shot of the lighthouse, the ocean, sky, and the two people in the distant background. They help show the size of the lighthouse, which is bigger than it looks. A very professional photo, depicting all the elements such as not putting anything directly in the center but keeping a good balance to it.

At first I should say, the cropping is perfectly done. Other than that it's a perfectly framed shot. Details are perfect. Taken from a good angle and you have allowed a vast scenery to be part of it. Lovely and lively. Nice work.

Fine capture of the Cape lighthouse Fred. My favorite one this side of Florida is Big Red AKA Jupiter Lighthouse.
We go North more often the South due to Tourists.
Everyone goes To Miami.
I like your POV including the long stretch of beach and our Gorgeous waters here. The gulls in foreground and people in background add life to the shot.
Fine capture with controlled white balance on a sunny day.
Well done!

thanks a lot Sandra for your lovely comments;
back in France: very cold.....

Ha! I bet it's cold... I loathe the weather and storms here for 6 months...But the Jan-April... Weekends are spent exploring out doors North away from people!
We find so many places no one goes and we have the birds all to ourselves.
Found a Yellow Night Crowned Heron yesterday and a wee Racoon.
Stay warm! :)

I especially like the colors in this image. Your angle nicely emphasizes the lines of the water, shoreline and sand straight through the scene to the lighthouse. Very lovely composition.
