I just hope no one was hurt, but that is a fruitless wish in times of war.
Good use of color. Good use of red--good luck in that contest. I look up at mine I entered in a red contest--never stood a chance. Glad I went to FanStory.
:) Good luck

Your paint is beautiful and very impressive, but the think the impression left by the bomb isn't nice , neither wanted
Leaving in a place like Israel, I know terrorism, still I do not like the use of bombs

I can understand. In the moment of anguish, I created this. Thank you for your time and comments. Much appreciated.

A fantastic interpretation. I like the way you show the disruption of the subterranean mass. The preponderance of red is appropriate too. Warm up the mushroom cloud, we have a lunatic at the helm.

That is so interesting seshadri because I also wondered what the landscape would look like after that MOAB was dropped and here also there were not the usual images of the aftermath shown.
I think your red 'sky' is very appropriate as well as the cloud of dust hanging there as well. Your abstract depiction of the mountains in the distance and shattered landscape also seems like a very creative way to imagine the scene.
Red is my favorite color and while the reason for your doing up this piece is a sad one, I do think it's the perfect entrant for this contest and wish you the best with it.

Sesha,
A beautiful & very dramatic picture showing the devastating result of the American bomb...while it may have killed many members of Isis & destroyed their hideouts I'm sure there were also many innocent victims...when will they learn to talk rather than destroy just because they can.. The composition is very skilful created with skilful brushwork & computer techniques dramatic choice & application of your colours to show the horror of the explosion.

An interesting initial impact.
Creative concept of estimating the extent of the massive explosion!
Innovative approach of depicting it in impressionistic vivid visual graphics!
Imaginative presentation.
Visually appealing compositional strokes & convincing red aftermath.
Thanks for sharing...
