I have missed so many of your posts lately and I apologize. As there are so many wonderful ones here. I had to stop on this one and tell you how much I love it!
Your colors are completely true to a purple cabbage. And your framing has given the cabbage head the stage...but with it's supporting cast. How could you 'leave' those surrounding ruffles out?!! Perfection
The water droplets are a nice highlight and give some brilliance to this capture. But sometimes I think droplets steal the show from the main subject. In this case..you have done a good job balancing those with the beautiful cabbage.
Again...the colors are glorious! Light and shadows are excellent....natural. That is a must with this composition. Well done!! Best of luck!

Thanks for the wonderful review. I know you appreciate anything that grows in a garden, as do I. Funny how some of the best shots come from a cloudy/rainy day. I think harsh sunlight just kills so many potentially good shot.
I also appreciate any pun on FAR, very subtle humor. :)
Have a great day.

You are most welcome! This one is definitely a 'head' turner! :D I have a shot of an ear of corn that may be called for so you can respond... :D
-
Lettuce continue the fine support of each other! I hope you bear with me. 🐻

OK...really am laughing out loud now!! <3

Hey, can you check out the new contract for today, does it make sense to you or not?
-
Yes...I think the new contest makes perfect sense with the excellent examples given. I have a spot reserved! Thanks for being so active in creating contest! Love it! :D

My Step Father would agree with you.
This is a really nice and pretty head of cabbage.
The colors are so perfect. No bugs and no brown leaves.
Good job. Thanks for posting.

This cabbage looks fantastic in purple and green, and with all the droplets it also looks very fresh. I especially like the close and personal approach and how the cabbage is filling the whole frame.
Your photo is pin sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the cabbage. You have also brought out the fine textures in a good way.
The format you have cropped the photo into works well and the central position of the cabbage is the best. I think this is a lovely and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

I submitted a green cabbage not too long ago that did well in a contest. I hope this one does not feel too bad if it does worse. They were seemed to be garden mates, a couple feet apart.
Thanks for the review and detailed comments.
