this is really nice, although I was hoping for more of a yacht to cross over with lol,,love the sun rise or sunset is beautiful,,this is so inspiring as I am watching my father slowly dying right now,,when I went to see him yesterday he told me he was dying (which I knew) and he looked terrified,,he seems to be hanging on so hard, because of his dementia it is hard to tell him Dad, its time to go home. This is perfect and I hope his time comes with peace

Thank you so much Lisa for your story. I know what you are going through. My mother died not too long ago from basically the same thing. She was not afraid yet I always told her it was ok to step over to the other side. Earthly and bodily death is not the end. It is the beginning. All we can do is be there with them. What I like the best about this image is the wonderful Depth of Field.
The image is sharp from the foreground and the deepest parts of the shot.
Great reflections really add greatly to the image!

This photo has really pretty colors in it. I really like the focus of the boat but then the beautiful background. The framing of the scene also adds to the picture nicely.

This is a beautiful capture with a fine message attached for those who believe and Understand that this is not our home...Heaven is.
I would have given a six, but your crop is a tad tight on the boat..you needed to take two steps back Bud.
But...the colors, the incoming wave, the boat and the message..I empty the sky of stars for.

Thanks buddy. You are right about it being tight on the right. That is the way it is in the original. I was so focused on capturing the wave in front of the boat that I forgot about where I was in the scene. Darn. Lesson learned. I so agree with your comments. Such a small boat for such a long journey. Amazes me! Like the colors, lots of greys such is life, but there's enough yellows and reds and blues to make it all worthwhile. I noticed your colors are not distinct neither are they in the journey but God blends them in for just the right picture. You always do a beautiful job.
