This has the markings of a Sandra Silberzweig. I love her work and this one. Excellent use of darker colors in the background to force the image out in front.

Well you definitely got that pop art feel you were going for Linda. Wonderful entrant for this particular contest.
I just love all the detail. Hardly a solid piece in your painting. I really like that. Her hair may be my favorite....the variety of shapes and colors you use to present yourself here are just marvelous. Even your background is full of interesting shapes and colors. Love the face as well....especially the eyes...and cheeks.
I think there's not much 'emerging' about it....lol Your artistic eye ....and paintbrush VERY obvious in this piece. Best of luck to you w/ it in the contest. She's wonderful!

Wonderful creativity. My first thought though was... Does this really look like you?!? LOL I really enjoy the different movements over the frame - visually absorbing! Great color movement as well. You have offered up a wonderful visual story. Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest!!!

Colors texture and drawing is very appealing. For some what it feels you only use pastels because of not mixing well But you have done a great work.

Interesting approach to the contest! Love the contrasting colors and the movement in the hair. The patterns in the background add a sense of playfulness to the entire piece. It's interesting how the canvas being painted on is in muted, realistic colors while the rest of the painting is in bright abstract patterns. Great piece overall!

Wowww! This Creation has a lot of rhythm and design going on in it, which you are feeling what you paint with a lot of love and passion! The designs show your mood for change and pattern expression. From looking at how your color is place inside lines....is a sign of perfection. The canvas in this picture indicates your special world. The hearts are placed in this creation to show ...."this is what you love to do"....You have your good days, but then, you have days that are totally different. Oh and you do love colorful work...which is beautifully done!

The only thing I would suggest is the hand not holding the paint brush looks smaller then the hand holding the paint brush. I'm not sure if you intended to do this. Your hand with the paint brush is a better rendition of the hand.

I have never met you, so don't really know how it depicts you, except for the paint brush, but to me it is so much the artist painting the artist, in quite a unique way. my mum had a pinny in the design and colour of your blouse, I still keep it /we, unlike the anglo saxons keep some of our parents things we don't turf children and parents out at a certain stage to keep our lives tidy- my mum even bought good towels and things as she got very old, which she never used, as they were for me when she passed away- we had lived very frugally as ex did not pay even his tiny amount of alimony the court asked him to /£10 every two weeks/ yet he was a high earner in Petrochem. So my sons and I were often hungry and never ate well. Anyway, love this patchwork you!!
