I like this one a lot...I think the silhouettes of the trees are very cool! The only suggestion I would make would be to either lighten it up just a bit or maybe just crop it in a little closer so that the silhouettes would show up even more! It is a super cool concept! Great job and thanks for sharing! Lori

I like the clouds around the moon and that the tree tops are well defined. They frame the scene nicely and add more interest and definition to the scene. I do remember that song :) Hope you have a good new year!

A great piece which captures the piece in B&W marvellously despite your doubts; the lighting and contrast is well controlled and balanced, and the tree silhouettes, some in focus, some not, but adding depth to the piece, are nicely positioned and gravitate towards the cloud shrouded moon. No blow outs and a good range of shades; and a nice relatively small piece with a large black background which accentuates the piece further. Ironically, if you haven't already have a look at my latest "2018!" piece - there are striking similarities but on the opposite end of the spectrum! A great piece and best of luck in the competition :)
