Beautiful capture of a lovely flower.
I really like how you can see the dusting from he middle of the flower as it lays on the deep dark pink.
Very good lighting and focus.
Great piece, thank you for sharing, good luck in the contest.

A beautiful picture of this crimson centred white Rose of Sharon with it's central pistil & many pollen laden stamens on the stem. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Super clear sharp focus on the center of the flower. The bright red center pulls you into the photo so you can examine the center. The framing is done nicely and is a joy to look at. Great contest entry. Good luck.

Hi and thanks for sharing this beautiful image ' white rose of sharon'. you have certainly used an excellent angle to focus in on the central portion of the bloom. The pure white petals that surround the beauty within are almost silk like in appearance .. the white signifies a feeling of pureness and the excellent exposure allows me to see the texture in these petals.. it is lace like in appearance and has its own story to tell. the lighting is perfect and the sheen off the pure white petal draws my eye right into the central eye of the scene. that ruby rich red/ crimson touch of joy offer a really warm and inviting sensation as it seems to almost bleed into the whiteness that surrounds it.. stunning pattern of nature , striking in ever way. The pistol in the centre which is neatly clustered with its pollen treats for the bees protrudes from the heated bed of crimson elegantly. the tiny treats of pollen are scattered gently upon the surface of the petals as a welcoming invitation for the passing bees. I love that little gap in the petals on the right.. it offer a touch contrast to that purity of the scene and lends its own interest in my mind's eye. a peaceful pleasing picture of beauty.. thanks for sharing. it has been a treat to review. best of luck in the contest. cheers mel

Gorgeous photo this!
The impeccable detail around the stamen is quite stunning. The color spreading out from the center pulls the viewer in for a closer look.
I love the soft light on the petals and the close cropping.
Well done.

This is a beautifully detailed interior of this rose of Sharon.
The pollen granules are crisp and clear and the starburst of the red design looks great coming out of this white variety.
The petals appear delicate and soft, almost angelic.
Lovely entry for the competition and a pleasure to view. Best of luck in the contest.
