a gorgeous presentation of this flower, the rose...nice colours and nice structure even with the part introduction of another rose coming in to frame on the lower left. The viewer is still allowed to concentrate on the main flower due to its central placement and sharpness of focusing

This is a stunning color. And you did a wonderful job capturing it. The depth of the shading in the petals from the vivid pink while it moves into a bit of white and then to the center yellow all blend together to form an initial impact of a beautiful peachy hue...magical. The bg is perfect dof and enhances this beauty. The one in the corner is ok with me. It could be removed but then I would want to move the large rose out of the dead center a bit. It seems to be facing to the right of your frame. I would leave that space as is a cut a bit off of the left if possible. But that is my opinion. This is well worth any extra efforts to make it a perfect composition because your initial capture is perfect. Best of luck in the contest!

It certainly DOES appear to be glowing. You captured the beauty of this flower quite well. The colors are well defined, and I can see different petals as they ripple and curve around each other. Beautiful!

My first impression of this was of the colors - vivid against the back drop setting of green foliage. Really good contrast. I like the off set of the second rose on the left giving the impression of a bush - not just a rose in isolation.
