Oh I like this! This is a scene that is on the way out. I too look for old barns. The composition is good and so is the detail. I think maybe you could adjust the contrast a bit more but still a nice shot!

I think the black and white format was perfect for this subject. It brings out the textures and emphasizes the visually aesthetics of the patterns. Your framing gives the composition a very attractive balance too.

oh, how beautiful. and what a magnificent roof. How come no one moves into them, this for instance is gorgeous. I am sure most handimen could make this into a wonderful home, even if it is in a state now. They JUST ABANDON beautiful buildings like that? Amazing. I want one.

I love this! Old buildings always have such character and you have captured it well. Lots of textures throughout and interesting lines which really draw you in to all the details in this photo. I like the B&W! Thanks for sharing!

Hello again Pat! I love old barns and this is no exception! The black and white enhances the age of this barn! The focus is excellent! The angle and lighting are very nice! Great job and thanks for sharing!

There must be something about the short seasons that makes farming a spotty enterprise. I have seen lots of farm buildings in much worse condition that are still being used in my neck of the woods.

You have a great eye for the unusual as do I. The hanging roof and collapsing walls is evidence of abandoned building and it is captured well in the black and white. Love that I can walk around with my eyes into the forest of trees.

It is always sad, but also exiting to see old abandoned buildings. They are like symbols of the passage of time. They awake in me the same thoughts of who might have been the people who owned it. The monochrome is perfect for the photo. It emphasizes the mood of the composition. The photo is well focused has a good POV, The composition is balanced. The tight framing is adequate.

A beautiful black & white image of the Old barn & outbuildings with the misshapen weathered wooden fence in front & trees behind it that once protected it from the winds that blew behind them breaking it's force before the barn felt them. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
