A cool shot, Willie. I always enjoy interesting moon shots. You captured the light and shadow well and, yes, I think it fits in this contest theme well. The details in the moon surface could be crisper but, well...it is almost 250,000 miles away so... :)

wow don't think I have ever seen such a clear shot of the moon, the light captured on it really highlights the indentations and texture,
I like the perfect crescent shape which stands out really well against the black sky. a very well taken photograph taken with great camera skills.

Absolutely gorgeous!! I love the way you can see the craters on the moon. What kind of lens did you use? I'm assuming a pretty big one. Everything about it is pleasing. I'm glad there wasn't anything good on TV. You learned something and we get to reap the benefits.

This is a very unique shot of the moon . Very well detailed and centered the lighting is perfect the contrast is there the darkness gives a mystery bonus . Nice congratulations

wow..its like you hopped on a spacecraft and went up and took this detailed captured..very cool. the clarity is excellent. the angle of the shot of this moon is excellent. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and awesome work overall.
