I like the way you framed the river as a leading line into the background and the depth it creates. The curve of the water is attractive and the view of the trees is very nice.

Willie,
A beautiful picture of the Cumberland River winding it's way down it's valley between the trees growing along it's banks & the sun dancing on the river's surface that also reflects the blue sky above. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

I especially like your POV where the river creates such a nice leading line into the forest. You have captured the flow of water so well and I appreciate the nice and natural colors.
The photo is sharp all over showing clear and well defined details in the foreground vegetation. It is nothing wrong with the exposure either.
The photo is nicely cropped and with the good placement of the river it is a fine balance in the composition. A lovely and well taken landscape photo Willie, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

I like this view, looking down and out on the Cumberland River, I like the way the river winds around the bend. This is well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, the colors and tones are natural. Well composed and presented!
